About the Expo

ALIAS Entertainment Expo (AEX) will be a three day multi-genre convention held in the lovely twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Each year we choose a new and exciting theme to kick the con off right! In 2015 our patrons experienced a water themed, pool side event called ‘Summer Splash’, in 2016 we took our patrons to ‘The Final Frontier’ and in 2017 ALIAS Entertainment Expo gave you ‘The Apocalypse’ and in 2019 we presented “Enter the Matrix’. In 2023 to mark our return to the local event scene, we will witness the ‘Rise of the Dragon’, an exciting tale, meshing the concept of a high fantasy theme park with a comic convention, thus truly creating a one of a kind experience!

Exhibitor Hall

 What is a convention without a massive dealer room for you to stock up on awesome merch? Come prepared to shop till you drop as our exhibitors bring in stock specifically for AEX every year;  We boast the largest collection of local exhibitors to fulfil your comic geek and otaku shopping needs!

Tucked away and cordoned off from the rest of the convention one chances upon the plains of Eremor, our main Arena where all the panels, workshops and presentations over the weekend will take place alongside the Caribbean Cosplay Championships, A-Idol Revolution,  Cosplay Met Gala and After Party

After stocking up on both food and supplies you can now test your might and problem-solving skills in this tricky labyrinth! Here patrons will run our self-made maze to see if they can make it out alive! More details will be released in 2023!

Games and Activities

This is the heart of all your daytime entertainment! From Guest Signings to our numerous Stage Events and Contests, to all our Floor games and activities you will never be bored at ALIAS! In our Gaming Arena gamers will practice and perfect their skills in hand eye coordination as they work tirelessly to defeat their enemies in a slew of gaming tournaments and matches taking place over the weekend! From Video Games to Board/Card Games and everything in between, we are sure you will find something to tickle your fancy!

Food Court

After your shopping adventures feel free to fill your bellies and quench your thirst at here where you will find a varied assortment of Food and Drink vendors catering for a variety of tastes and dietary requirements!

Night Life

As the days wind to a close, patrons are invited to partake in a bevy of night time entertainment! 

For the first time ever in the region, patrons get the enchanting opportunity to attend Cosplay Met Gala! Come dine with your fellow attendees and guests as you are serenaded with live entertainment! 

As usual, we will also be having our famous ALIAS After-Party: the stylish costume party that started it all, to cap off a truly epic weekend!
