Press Pass Application Form
ALIAS Entertainment would like to formally invite members of the press to apply for entry into this year’s convention!
Who can apply?
Press registration is open to journalists regularly making editorial contributions. Editorial press includes writers, reporters, reviewers, photographers, videographers, etc. who are attending exclusively to write about ALIAS Entertainment Expo and/or cover the event for newspapers, magazines, TV and radio.
Press passes will not be approved for outlets created with the sole intent of obtaining free admission. For example, if you’ve got a website that hasn’t been updated in six months, a blog that exists only to post your convention reviews, or a YouTube channel with two views, we’re sorry, but you’re not going to be approved. ALIAS Entertainment checks every application that is submitted.
Non-editorial staff such as graphic designers, influencers, marketing, public relations and sales staff do not qualify for press tickets and should instead purchase one of our Ticket options.
Your press ticket DOES NOT allow:
- Early or special access into ALIAS Entertainment Expo
- Guaranteed seating at panels and events.Â
- Seating is reserved for patrons and Press will be allowed entry if room is available.
- The ability to cut lines
- Interviews with guests.Â
- ALL guest interviews need to be pre-approved by ALIAS Entertainment prior to the convention. If you’d like to speak with an invited guest, please contact josette@alias-expo.com. Interviews cannot be guaranteed at the event. All our guests have approved schedules and on-site requests are very difficult to fulfill.
- Free access into any events requiring an additional ticket such as our night time events
- Entry into door prize giveaways (sorry, but these are reserved for paying patrons only)
Guidelines
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. You’ll be notified if you have been approved or denied by June 30th. If approved, additional information will be provided in your confirmation email and receipt. Every individual applying for a press pass may only apply once.
Each press ticket is issued individually. If you’re applying with a team, each person on your team needs to apply and be approved separately.
Press tickets are non-transferable and non-resellable.Any individuals caught selling their press ticket will be disqualified from attending future ALIAS Entertainment events. This is non-negotiable.
